Getting a square or a vertical copy used to crop the picture, and the crop went straight through the captions: on a vertical export, whole lines came out as fragments of letters. Now the frame is placed inside the shape you asked for, with bars where it does not fill. Nothing is cut and nothing is invented, and any video can be downloaded in any of the three shapes.
